About the AURIGAN Mouthpiece

The Turnado

A new dimension of loose ring snaffles

This bit lies perfectly in the mouth because the mouthpiece is angled forward by 45°.

In contrast to the other loose ring snaffles the aids given with the reins on this new bit reach the horse’s mouth more precisely but still in a soft way. The bit is more readily accepted resulting in prompt and ideal chewing activity. This new loose ring snaffle helps to prevent tongue vices - putting the tongue over the bit often stops almost immediately when this bit is used.

The 2-Type-Bit

This bit is gentle on the corners of the horse’s mouth due to the eggbutt shape in combination with the loose rings. Horses readily accept the anatomical shape of the bit. The combination of the eggbutt shaped corners and the flexible loose rings ensure extremely gentle pressure on the horse’s mouth.

Result

Less force exerted by the rider’s hand, high acceptance by the horse due to two-fold signals to the horse’s mouth.

The 2-Type-Bit combines the lightness of a loose ring snaffle and the lateral pressure of an eggbutt bit.
